Franco Brambilla (27 November, 1923 – 28 July, 2003) was an Italy Roman Catholic Archbishop and Vatican diplomat. ==Life== Brambilla was born in Brugherio in 1923. He became a priest in 1947 and he became the Titular Archbishop of Viminacium on Christmas Eve in 1970 and the same day he became the Apostolic Pro-Nuncio to Tanzania. In 1981 he moved continents when he became the Apostolic Nuncio to Uruguay. His final apointment was to be the Apostolic Pro-Nuncio to Australia which was a post he held until 1998.
